From 2000 – 2005 Bart studied International Business at Maastricht University. During his study, he mainly followed three tracks; marketing, organization and strategy. In his thesis the central issue related to marketing. Bart applied the concept of the Service Profit Chain to the Dutch telephone provider KPN. In this concept customer and employee satisfaction at KPN were analyzed.
Since 2006, he is a junior lecturer for the department of Organization and Strategy.
