Sara studied International Business at  Maastricht University  and received her Master degree in August 2000. Afterwards she worked as a consultant for a well-known consultancy firm. During her consultant career she decided to go back to university to do a PhD on "Impression Management in Consultancy", which she received in February 2010. Since August 2009 she is working as a junior lecturer for the department of Organization & Strategy.
