Sarah started her academic career at University College Maastricht (UCM) graduating with a BA in Social Sciences (cum laude) in June 2006. Before moving on with her European MA in International Management studies (with distinction) at Bradford University School of Management in England about three months later, she was employed as an intern at access AG, a German HR Consultancy and Recruiting Agency.

During her four years of study, she spent academic semesters abroad at Waikato Management School (Hamilton, New Zealand), Audencia Ecole de Management (Nantes, France) and at Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (Barcelona, Spain).
