Jan Nijhuis (born in 1957) studied business administration the University of Groningen from 1976 to 1982. He was a teacher at the school for higher vocational business training in Groningen. There he was responsible for courses in accounting, finance and organization. Since 1987 he is a senior lecturer in the department of Organisation and Strategy. He has a broad experience in teaching in a variety of courses. At the moment he is coordinator of the course strategy. His research concentrates on learning processes of students and the development of teaching material. In 2006 he received his PhD at our faculty on this topic.
