After he had left high school an intended one year period of work evolved into a twenty year period in business. Meanwhile he studied Business Administration at the Dutch Open University and graduated (cum laude) in 1995. Then he redirected his focus toward science. His comment "Good decision that was, I can hardly imagine a more inspiring work environment!" speaks for itself. First he was employed as a teacher at Tilburg University until the end of 2000 and then he moved to Maastricht University. Right now he is working on his PhD on the nature, antecedents and consequences of organizational cynicism. He truly believes that research into this less favorable work outcome is warranted.

Position: PhD candidate

Specialization: Psychological impact of work on the individual in general, Organizational Cynicism in particular.
