Seminars
We are organizing research seminars to various topics. Most of them are
jointly organized with the research school (METEOR) and with other research groups at the Faculty of Economics and
Business Administration.
- Internal lunch seminar series
The section AE1 together with the Department of Quantitative Economics offers an internal seminar for the discussion of
new ideas and projects in different states.
- METEORITE seminar series
The METEOR seminar In Theoretical Economics covers the topics Theory,
Behavior, Experiments and Computation. From September to December and
February to June it takes place once per week (usually Thursday at 16:00).
Renowned speakers are invited from all over the world.

- Neuroeconomics Meetings
The biweekly meetings are organized jointly by the Department of Economics (AE1) and the Research Group of Cognitive Neuroscience.

- ROA seminar series
The Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) organizes a weekly workshop around labour markets.
- Social Policy
Seminar Series
The Maastricht Graduate School of Governance established the Social Policy
Seminar Series in 2005 to encourage the exchange of ideas within the area
of welfare, social protection and social policy in a (European and)
multidisciplinary perspective.
- UNU-MERIT seminar series
The United Nations University (UNU) and the Maastricht Economic and social Research and
training center on Innovation and Technology (MERIT) organise a range of activities designed to stimulate academic debate,
disseminate research findings, and facilitate knowledge sharing among researchers
and policymakers. The location is in walking distance (7 min).
